A Brief Description of Giclee' Printing in more Technical Terms

Images our reproduced from high resolution digital scans or files and printed with archival
pigmented inks onto various substrates including Canvas, Watercolor Paper and Photo-Based
Paper.  A Giclee'  refers to both a category of collectible fine art prints as well as a type of
digitally created reproduction of a photograph.
Giclee' : From the French word "le gicleur" meaning nozzle or
more specifically "gicler" meaning to squirt, spurt or spray.
It is such a great word,  It  describes a Fine Art Reproduction to many people
but to many others it really just makes them giggle and nobody knows how to pronounce it.
It is pronounced Gee-Clay with an emphasis on both the "Gee" and the "Clay"
Hope you got a "giggle"
